Gathering Collective Momentum: people, ideas and resources

From November 20, 2018 18:00 until 19:30

All Canberrans are invited to a special event to hear how local organisations are working to make sure the ACT community has a frontline disability workforce that can support people with disability, their carers and families under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

The event will bring together support workers, service providers, employers, accommodation services, respite and activity centres, education and training organisations, business groups, entrepreneurial innovators, people with disability, families, carers and advocates in the ACT community. ‘Gathering Collective Momentum’ will be the final opportunity to discuss ideas and seek funding through the ACT Workforce Impact Collective.

ACT Minister Rachel Stephen-Smith will attend and there will be keynote speakers from the ACT and interstate. Towards the end of the event, there will be an opportunity to mingle and discuss any ideas with the WIC Steering Group and WIC Team.
