Who Are We

Based in Sydney but with an Australia-wide presence, we operate as a division of National Disability Services (NDS). NDP resulted from the merger of two professional bodies, Australian Disability Professionals and Disability Professionals Victoria. Following our launch in December 2014 we have grown to become a leading association that inspires, develops and supports the Australian disability workforce.

Our Vision:

To build and maintain a community of capable, professional and engaged individuals, committed to delivering high quality supports and life opportunities for people with disability.

Purpose:

To inspire, develop and support the Australian disability workforce. We do this by informing, recognising, connecting and resourcing our members.

Values:

  • We recognise that members are our most valuable asset.
  • We strive to be inclusive, embracing the diversity of our community of members.
  • We continually strive to inspire our members to be best they can be.
  • We are committed to encouraging the highest standards of practice.
  • We champion the rights of people with disability.
