$14 million for a more inclusive Australia

The Hon Jane Prentice MP, Assistant Minister for Social Services and Disability Services, has announced just over $14 million dollars in grants for organisations around the country to help make sure people with disability are connected to their community.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) has two parts. NDIS funded plans for individuals and Information, Linkages and Capacity building or ILC, which focuses on community inclusion. Both parts contribute to the overall goal of the NDIS to enable people with disability to live an ordinary life.
