New NDIS Prices Are Up For 2019/20

In response to the NDIA annual price review, prices have been raised within the NDIS payment system. A multitude of benefits are expected to follow from the recent NDIS price changes including:

  • general price increases and specific increases for therapists and attendant care and community participation
  • the introduction of a Temporary Transformation Payment (TTP)
  • increases to remote and very remote loadings
  • updates to travel, non face-to-face services and cancellation billing policies
  • updates to community and centre based supports
  • providers of school leaver employment supports now eligible to claim NDIA report writing
  • updates to Assistive Technology and Home Modifications
  • outcomes from the WA Market Review and Therapy Price Review

NDIS recommends that all providers and participants along with their families and carers, read through the NDIA Annual Price Review Page to keep themselves current on all price increases and policies within the payment system.

Two additional resources that members are encouraged to be familiar with include:

NDIS Price Guide 2019–20 and the NDIS Support Catalogue 2019–20

This information will assist in communications between participants and providers so that both parties have a mutual understanding of prices charged for delivery of supports and services.
