ACT COVID-19 Update: Health advice for high-risk settings updated
Staff should continue to wear masks in high-risk settings or when providing home care.
However, there is additional advice about masks and PPE, including its impact on contact tracing and advice about PPE during an outbreak in a high-risk setting.
Importantly, wearing appropriate PPE will minimise the chance of a staff member being assessed as a close or casual contact following exposure to a person in their infectious period for COVID-19. This may minimise potential workforce shortages should a client test positive for COVID-19. Entry screening questions updated
Another key message from the update is that entry screening questions have been updated. These should be applied immediately.Lockdown lifted
