Expressions of Interest in the Independent Advisory Group (IAG) for the Innovative Workforce Fund

NDS is calling for Expressions of Interest in the Independent Advisory Group (IAG) for the Innovative Workforce Fund (IWF) from NDP members. They are seeking two experienced and knowledgeable disability practitioners.

Expressions of Interest will close Friday, 17 February 2017.

National Disability Services (NDS) has been appointed to manage the Innovative Workforce Fund (IWF), an initiative of the Department of Social Services with an allocation from the Sector Development Fund, National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

The IWF will stimulate and disseminate new, more efficient and effective ways for the disability support sector to engage, develop and utilise the workforce to meet the needs of NDIS participants. It is designed to build a strong evidence base to support the efficacy of innovative workforce approaches by way of a $4 million Fund to support projects that identify innovative ways of building and managing the disability workforce under the NDIS.

The Fund will be distributed in two rounds in 2017 with final project reports completed by June 2018. Applications will be sought in early March.
