Collectively, our more than 950 Members employ the front line staff delivering our national support system for people with disability. These employees are critical in enabling people with disability to realise their goals of accessing employment, living independently, gaining an education or simply participating in our community.

NDS Learn and Develop offers the disability sector access quality, flexible and cost effective learning solutions from recognised providers. In addition to a national curriculum of programs, NDS Learn and Develop has a growing library of online learning including free sector training that can be accessed via the NDS Learning Portal.


The Centre for Applied Disability Research (CADR) is a new applied disability research centre based in the sector and seed-funded by NSW Government. It has been created to improve the wellbeing of Australians with disability by gathering insights, building understanding and sharing knowledge.
