Access the Revised National Standards for Disability Services Toolkit
Funded by a grant from the Department of Communities – Disability Services, NDS WA have updated the National Standards for Disability Services Toolkit with a collection of new resources and policy templates aimed at improving the level of disability services particularly in relation to quality and safeguarding practices.
In order to keep disability service organisations up to speed – these new tools can be found on the NDS website:
• Whistle-blower policy sample
• Risk Management policy sample
• Social Media policy sample
• Direct Health Support policy sample
• A Quality practice guide and map of the Service Standards to the Practice Standards
• A simplified risk management tool for sole and small providers
• Guidelines for establishing a policy development group
