Focussing on the upskilling of support workers within the disability sector and working in conjunction with the NDS, the Australian Industry and Skills Committee (AISC) have confirmed membership and structure for the Disability Support Industry Reference Committee (IRC). The committee comprises members from NDIA, the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, peak organisations and provider representatives, all of whom will continue to monitor and improve skill levels, training package qualifications and expertise within the industry.
