Ethel Temby research grant program and workforce scholarships - Funded by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)


Along with DHHS staff, those employed by community service organisation funded by DHHS are eligible.  In previous years, non-government staff have been underrepresented in the application process.

Applications for these grants open 13 June 2017. An Ethel Temby research grant provides up to $9,000 to allow a recipient to complete a research project during 2017. The research will investigate new approaches that work towards the goals of the State Disability Plan, and may be undertaken locally, interstate or overseas. Meanwhile, the workforce scholarship provides financial assistance to undertake study in 2017 and/or 2018 in an undergraduate or postgraduate course, or a course that leads to a qualification.
