Free Webinar! Person-Centred Risk Management Webinar

Join this webinar to gain an understanding of how you can manage risk and still provide person-centred services.

During this online session, we will explore:

  • Stories about real people and risk
  • Managing risk, in a person-centred way
  • Key lessons from working in the sector and managing risk
  • The NDIS, risk and you

Person-centred risk management supports the wellbeing of all people involved in an individual’s life, but especially the wellbeing of the person using the services. Well managed risk supports informed decision-making, positive outcomes and happy customers/clients.

Risk management helps people with disability, and the people that support them, to make decisions that support people to lead their most independent and full life - safely. An individual that undertakes a strong set of risk control activities will:

  • reduce the likelihood and/or consequences of potential adverse events,
  • maximise the results of positive events,
  • support the achievement of goals and outcomes,
  • provide a set of records that supports activities in relation to compliance obligations.
