The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) has now been completely rolled out across Queensland, Victoria, and Tasmania. All eligible participants in these states will now be able to access the scheme from 1 January 2019.

Upon full implementation, the scheme is estimated to support about 460,000 people with disability nationally - 10,600 in Tasmania; 105,000 in Victoria; and 91,000 in Queensland. The NDIS has been completely rolled out to all states and territories except Western Australia, which will continue progressive rollout until 2020.
