Continence Foundation, the peak body for Australians affected by or at risk of bladder and bowel control problems, is offering a limited number of fully funded scholarships for the distance-based Certificate III in Continence Promotion and Care course, to promote greater skills development in the area of continence. This course includes an elective component focusing on continence health within the disability context.

Course participants will learn about:

• the anatomy and physiology of the bladder and bowel
• different types of incontinence
• incontinence symptoms and treatments
• continence aids and products
• basic continence terminology
• ways to access available services.

The Continence Foundation will pay the full course fee of $690 for successful applicants. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification in continence promotion and care.
