The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) website has provided some updates regarding implementation of recommendations from the Independent Pricing Review released in March this year.

The Agency is prioritising the recommendations based on immediate support that can be given to providers. The recommendations include:

• Regional travel
• Short Term Accommodation
• Temporary Support for Overheads
• Cancellation policy for core supports
• Group supports
• Therapy assistants (phase one)
• Therapy travel
• Cancellation policy for therapy
• Reports requested by NDIA

The NDIA aims to implement the above recommendations by 1 July 2018.
