Disability providers across Western Australia are experiencing high staff turnover. It is more important than ever to build the capability of the existing workforce and retain great workers in our sector.

$3 million in small grants will be available via the Disability Workforce Development and Retention Fund as part of the Sector Transition Fund. The Fund will support existing NDIS registered providers to identify and implement innovative organisation and place-based strategies to develop and retain their workforce.

Applications to the Fund will open in July 2022. Detailed information about eligibility and how to apply will be available in June 2022.

Applications will be welcome from registered NDIS Providers across WA with $2 million quarantined for regional and remote providers.

This initiative is funded by the Department of Communities and administered by NDS.
