This year, the Cooperative Research Centre for Living with Autism (Autism CRC) is developing a new leadership program for emerging autistic leaders, aged 25 to 40 years, who are passionate about making a positive impact on their community. 

The program aims to:

• Upskill autistic adults in leadership, policy development and networking;
• Build relationships between emerging autistic leaders and organisations; and
• Establish a national network of emerging and established autistic leaders.

Participants will be able to develop leadership skills through :

• Online modules;
• Three-day workshop;
• Mentoring from established autistic leaders; and
• Hands-on experience with corporate partners.

 Autism CRC will soon be accepting applications for the program, as well as seeking organisations who can provide volunteer placements and sponsor participants.
