With a strong background in service delivery, a sound knowledge and understanding of digital transformation and extensive experience in a multitude of leadership roles, the dawn of Mr Hoffman’s new career looks promising. Prior to his recent appointment as Chief Executive Officer of the NDIA, his previous roles included Secretary of the NSW Department of Finance, Services & Innovation, the Commonwealth Deputy Secretary, CEO of ninemsn. In addition, he has also been in leadership roles for Fairfax Media, Optus and the Garvan Institute of Medical Research.

NDIA Board Chairman, Dr Helen Nugent AO welcomed Mr Hoffman, expressing great confidence as he takes on his new responsibilities as CEO, acknowledging his devotion towards people with a disability as well as their families, his extensive and diverse skillset along with his ability to motivate and inspire those around him.
