Planning with the Aboriginal Community

The Intellectual Disability Behaviour Support Program of the University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney) released a new planning guide to help organisations plan with Aboriginal people with disability.

The ‘No More Waiting: A guide for organisations to plan with Aboriginal people with disability’ focuses on people with disability and complex support needs. It was developed collaboratively with Aboriginal people from rural and metropolitan communities in NSW who worked with researchers. The guide includes insights into Aboriginal community's unique histories, values and traditions, which can help in preparing culturally-appropriate planning pathways.
