Review of Decisions Guidelines Update
Following recommendations from the Commonwealth Ombudsman, the Review of Decisions Operational Guidelines have been updated.
According to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) website, the update clarifies the internal decision review process:
- Participants or their representative can go to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal if they don't agree with the outcome of an internal review conducted by the NDIA.
- The NDIA will undertake a priority internal review if a participant's circumstances require it.
