Use of NDIS logo and acronyms

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is encouraging NDIS supporters and providers to use the ‘I heart NDIS’ and ‘I support NDIS’ logos to promote and raise community awareness about the NDIS. These logos are available for use by everyone. The NDIA and NDIS logo and acroyms, however, are owned by the Commonwealth, and cannot be used by anyone outside of the NDIA.

Providers can promote their association with the scheme by adhering to the Registered Provider Terms of Business. Some of the guidelines for promoting NDIS are below.

Registered Providers CAN:

  • Identify their NDIS registration by stating ‘Registered NDIS Provider'.
  • Use the 'I heart NDIS' and 'I Support NDIS' logos and the 'Registered provider tagline'.

Registered Providers CANNOT:

  • Use the NDIS logo and colour scheme in any publicity material (e.g. vehicles, buildings, emails, stationery, business cards etc.)
NDIA has formal contractual agreements with Partners in the Community, including LACs and ECEI partners. They have provided them with co-branded guidelines for appropriate logo use.

The Agency recognises that social media is a great resource to promote NDIS. Everyone, including groups, can utilise and share the great videos and animations on their NDIS Facebook page and YouTube channel, as long as they don't appear to be representing the agency.

Go to the NDIS website to download the NDIS logos and read the Registered Provider Terms of Business.
