The Management of Psychosocial Risk in the Disability Sector

National Disability Services (NDS) is partnering with SACS to present this online workshop on the topic of Psychosocial Safety. Ethical employers are conscious of the need to create psychosocially safe workplaces. Additionally, legislative bodies across Australia are in the process of broadening workplace health and safety laws to include psychosocial risks.

During this interactive workshop you will learn about:

  • What is psychosocial risk?
  • How to identify psychosocial damage and its causes
  • The ways in which resilience helps combat psychosocial risk
  • Boosting psychosocial wellbeing through engagement and role clarity
  • Practical tips to increase wellbeing and minimise harm.

This workshop will clarify the concept of psychosocial risk for you, including how legislation, current and developing is addressing this issue. Most importantly, you will leave this workshop with usable techniques to help manage psychosocial risks in your own workplace.

Who Should Attend?

Chief Executive Officers, Managing Directors, Line Managers and Human Resource professionals.
